You have the idea. We take it from concept sketch to manufactured reality — designing for production from day one, optimising plant layout and flow, and connecting you with the right manufacturers. Forty years of factory floor experience, working for you.

I am a degreed Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years of hands-on manufacturing experience spanning automotive, semiconductors, plastics, metal fabrication, and design from concept to production. That breadth of industry experience means I have seen — and solved — the full range of manufacturing challenges that small businesses and product inventors face.
My approach is practitioner-first, not theoretical. I have personally designed plant layouts, taken products from napkin sketch to first article, and helped individuals with product ideas find the right manufacturers to bring them to market. Every recommendation I make is grounded in what actually works under real production conditions.
My forthcoming book, Keys to Manufacturing Wisdom, captures these lessons alongside the timeless strategic thinking of military commanders and industry giants — for anyone who wants to build, improve, or launch a manufacturing operation the right way.
You have an idea for a product. We take it from napkin sketch to manufacturable reality — designing for production from the very first line, so your product can actually be built efficiently and profitably. We also guide clients through filing a Provisional Patent Application (PPA) to secure patent pending status and protect your design during development — without the expense of a full patent filing.
A poorly laid out plant costs you money every single day — in wasted motion, congestion, and missed throughput. We redesign your floor so material, people, and information move with purpose.
Have a concept but no factory? We identify and evaluate suitable manufacturers for your product — assessing capability, capacity, quality, and cost — so you partner with the right people from the start.
Building robust, repeatable production processes that reduce variability, shrink cycle times, and eliminate waste — so your floor runs predictably without heroics.
Every recommendation is tested against 40 years of real production experience — not benchmarks, not frameworks, not spreadsheet theory.
Before your concept goes to a manufacturer, protect it. We guide inventors through filing a Provisional Patent Application (PPA) — the fastest and most affordable way to secure patent pending status while your product is still in development. No patent lawyer required for a PPA, and your design is protected for 12 months while you refine and manufacture it.
Built for manufacturers who can't afford a McKinsey engagement. Practical, affordable, and implemented alongside your team — not handed down from a boardroom.
You don't need to be a manufacturer to work with us. If you have a product concept and need someone to bridge the gap between idea and production — that is exactly what we do.
The Art of War on the Factory Floor. Inspired by Sun Tzu's thirteen chapters, this book maps timeless military strategy onto forty years of real manufacturing experience — across aviation, semiconductors, food and beverage, automotive plastics, and metal fabrication, on two continents.
Each chapter follows the same structure: Sun Tzu's principle, a story from the factory floor, and the lesson extracted. Written by Paul Sammut, B.Mech.Eng.Hons — for manufacturing leaders, plant managers, and engineers who want a philosophy of operational excellence, not just another methodology.
The first draft of all thirteen chapters is now complete. Paul is currently proofreading and evaluating publishing options, with a target to publish before the end of 2026. Register your interest below to be notified when it is available.
Whether you have a product idea you want to bring to market, a plant layout that needs improving, or a process that is costing you more than it should — let's talk. No obligation, no sales pitch. The first conversation is always free.
